Alumni Contribution
Since the establishment of Alumni Advocate Scheme, more and more alumni have made contribution to their alma mater. In the past year, over 540 committed alumni supported various kinds of VTC activities and student learning through sharing, mentoring, donation, offering industrial attachments, etc. Below is the highlight of alumni supported activities and events:

IVE Speak for Success Programme - Experience Sharing with Professionals
Over 50 alumni mentors attended the ‘Speak for Success Programme’ sponsored by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. The Programme enhances students' presentation and communication skills by providing different training and practical opportunities. Alumni shared the valuable industry information with students during the event. |

VTC Alumni Ambassador in the UK builds sustainable global alumni relations
In the light of the growing number of graduates studying or working overseas, VTC has launched an alumni engagement programme in the UK, aiming to build a sustainable alumni relationship and develop an international community to promote Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) globally. 2 alumni joined the first-ever homestay activity at Meopham, London, organised by Ms. Agnes Ng, the VTC UK Ambassador. |

IVELite Sharing Session on Student Learning Outcomes 2018-2019
Hoping to nurture the younger fellows of alma mater, 38 alumni mentors attended the IVELite Sharing Session on Student Learning Outcomes. Most of them already accumulated more than 10 years of valuable working experience in their respective field. It was a valuable opportunity for students directly communicate with their senior fellows in the industry. |

Networking Lunch for Alumni Associations and Alumni Advisors
To provide a platform for Alumni Associations and Alumni Advisors to communicate the possible collaborations among all parties, a networking lunch was organised on 6 July 2019. Representatives of the Executive Committee Members of different Alumni Associations also shared good practices and perspective of alumni engagement. |

VTC Alumni Activity in the UK
Meanwhile, an alumni activity was held on 6 July in the UK. Three alumni Candace, Jason and John joined a one-day visit to Meopham for a chilled and fun Saturday with warm greeting from Ms Agnes Ng, the VTC Alumni Ambassador in the UK. |

New Scholars Welcome Gatherings for the Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships, and the Lady Ivy Wu Scholarship
Thanks to the generous support from the Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships, and the Lady Ivy Wu Scholarship, a total of 27 VTC academically bright and talented graduates, are going to take on further education in the UK. Before leaving, VTC organised welcome gatherings for the new scholars on 16 Aug 2019.

Alumni Advocate Award Scheme
To recognise, honor, and reward Alumni contributions to the development of the VTC, we present Alumni Advocate Award to our Alumni Advocates.
Scoring System
Alumni earn points for their contributions. These points are accumulative and can be carried forward. Scores will be counted annually per Academic Year (Sep 1 — 31 Aug). Below are five levels of awards you can unlock and climb the leaderboard:
